A.R. Brouwer Company expanded and renovated the Lyon Township Hall & Oakland County Sheriff’s substation. The two-story expansion provided new office and lunchroom space for the township staff and an elevator for accessibility to the lower level. Enhancements to the existing building included new ceilings, flooring, lighting and a welcoming lobby. The Sheriff’s Substation was updated with larger locker rooms, offices, meeting and break rooms, a new workout room, and two investigation rooms. Bulletproof glass and bulletproof walls were used to enhance safety. Site work included an underground detention system and two parking lot expansions.
