When a nearby fire damaged an aging student housing building beyond repair, the owners of 818 South Forest contracted A.R. Brouwer Company to design and build a new three-story student apartment building. The new building consisted of four (4) six-bedroom units. Each apartment has a full kitchen, dining room, and living room. Finishes included state-of-the-art appliances, granite countertops, washers and dryers, air conditioning, walk-in closets, and large windows for plenty of natural light. The exterior of the building was designed to fit the historic aesthetic of the surrounding neighborhood.
