A.R. Brouwer Company Team Members Recognized at Washtenaw Contractors Association Builders’ Bash
A.R. Brouwer Company, a Dexter based Design/Build, Construction Management and General Contracting firm is proud to announce several team members and two projects were recognized at the annual Builders’ Bash hosted by the Washtenaw Contractors Association.
Rachel Brouwer was named the 2026 Waters Woman in Construction, an award honoring a woman who has made significant contributions to the construction industry. The award recognizes the legacy of former WCA Executive Director, Gretchen Waters.
Jessica Singer was nominated for the Rising Star Award, which recognizes an emerging leader who has demonstrated strong professional growth and significant contributions to the industry within the past five years.
Additionally, two A.R. Brouwer Company projects were featured during the event: Kensington Ridge by Del Webb Amenity Center and the Dexter Senior Center.
A.R. Brouwer Company was selected by Pulte Homes of Michigan, LLC to construct the new resort-style Amenity Center at their Kensington Ridge Development in Milford, Michigan. This ground-up project serves as the central activity hub for more than 600 homeowners. The facility showcases high-quality craftsmanship and features a fitness center, an indoor heated lap pool and spa, a golf simulator, and multiple flexible event spaces. As General Contractor, A.R. Brouwer Company coordinated all phases of construction delivering a high-quality facility designed to serve residents for years to come.
A.R. Brouwer Company collaborated with Dexter Community Schools to construct the beautiful new Dexter Senior Center. The Center will support the varying needs of the senior community. The Center features open gathering spaces, classrooms, offices, consultation rooms, a banquet service area, and an outdoor patio designed to support a wide range of programming and community engagement. The project represents the final phase of the Dexter Town Center redevelopment, which included demolition of a former factory, brownfield remediation, and construction of a two-story professional building and the Dexter Wellness Center.
