They needed more room at McNaughton-McKay Electrical Company. They made what turned out to be a good decision. They asked A.R. Brouwer to convert the warehouse of an existing building into a state-of-the-art corporate communications center. Isolating their communications center in new quarters allowed them more room to expand in their core business. The new center also gave them a room specifically designed for cutting edge information technology. A.R. Brouwer Company brought the best to the project: A large UPS system (uninterrupted power supply), to ensure continuous power A 150 KW natural gas powered generator for backup power Special HVAC equipment to maintain temperature and humidity inside the room, with outdoor temperatures ranging from -30° to 100° F A raised floor to house power wiring, advanced fiber optics, and computer cabling An FM-200 fire suppression system to protect the computer equipjment in case of fire. McNaughton-McKay and A.R. Brouwer collaborated on a dynamic corporate communications center. McNaughton-McKay prepared their company for the future, and A.R. Brouwer delivered the facility on time and on budget. |
