Durcon Company, Inc., a countertop manufacturer of long-standing in Michigan, outgrew their existing Rhonda Drive location in Canton and decided that pre-engineered metal buildings would be ideal to increase their manufacturing needs. Acting as the project management consultants for PAMA Investment and Contracting, the two companies erected two separate building expansions. The first provided an additional 11,000 square feet of manufacturing space and the second an additional 22,000 square feet for product finishing, warehousing, and shipping. Adding onto their present site also allowed Durcon to upgrade some of their important safety systems, such as a high-tech, state-of-the-art sprinkler system. Safety is key to Durcon. A.R.
