Black Hawk Development offered A.R. Brouwer Co. an interesting challenge: design and build a mall that takes "strip" out of the equation. The result is Dexter Crossing. This stylish, comfortable mall easily blends into the landscape to become a part of the surrounding community. The interior column spacing is designed to allow for many different sized tenant spaces. The exterior glass and masonry can be easily removed or reconfigured to meet a specific tenant's needs. The large mansard roof and covered walkway add to the building's appeal. Dexter Crossing also brings a broad assortment of retailers to Dexter. The 68,000 square feet of retail space has already welcomed: a card store, a pharmacy, a vitamin center, a video store, a physical therapy suite, a real estate office, and two restaurants. A.R. Brouwer Co. met Blackhawk Development's requirements for a well-designed mall at a competitive price. Back to Construction Services
