CRB Crane's reputation for quality industrial cranes has grown considerably over the past few years. They build the overhead cranes so important to large manufacturers and industrial fabricators. A.R. Brouwer Co. constructed a new plant for CRB Crane in Howell, Michigan. This project, completed in September, 2000, includes a 2,700 square foot office, and a 20,000 square foot manufacturing shop,
The office is conventionally framed with decorative block and steel bar joists. The shop is a high bay, pre-engineered metal building designed to support two (2) twenty-ton overhead cranes. An 8-foot high wainscot around the perimeter improves building aesthetics and helps with maintenance issues. Project cost and location were key issues with CRB Crane. A. R. Brouwer worked closely with Howell Township to obtain site plan approval on a project that met CRB Crane's budget. Back to Construction Services
